This relative fast renovation transformed the kitchen, and living room into a warm, sophisticated interior with a fresh take on transitional design. The client wanted the spaces to feel distinctive and full of personality while remaining elegant and timeless. A two-tone palette became the foundation of the design, pairing warm natural wood tones and soft neutrals with rich green, her favorite color, as the defining accent throughout the home. Brass details, layered textures, and thoughtfully selected finishes bring warmth and refinement to the palette.

In the kitchen, deep green cabinetry creates a dramatic focal point while contrasting beautifully with the wood island, light countertops, and warm metal accents. The adjoining breakfast nook and living room carry the same palette forward through green upholstery, cognac and neutral furnishings, patterned textiles, and natural wood elements, creating a cohesive transition between the connected spaces. Although limited in scope, the renovation demonstrates how a carefully considered color story and a few impactful design decisions can completely redefine the character of a home.
