Lincoln Park - Chicago, IL

This Chicago high-rise residence remains one of my favorite projects from my time as a member of the design team at Handman Associates. Set high above the city with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, the residence offered an extraordinary setting for a sophisticated yet inviting home. The interiors combine clean architectural lines with warm wood tones, custom millwork, rich stone surfaces, tailored furnishings, and carefully selected lighting and artwork. Throughout the residence, expansive windows frame the surrounding views, allowing the lake and city to become an integral part of the interior experience.

I especially loved the balance we created between contemporary refinement and timeless elegance. From the intimate wood-paneled study and dramatic steel-and-glass doors to the serene living spaces, custom dressing room, and beautifully detailed bathrooms, each room has its own identity while remaining connected through a consistent palette of natural materials, soft neutrals, dark accents, and sculptural forms. Being part of the Handman Associates design team for this residence was an experience I truly enjoyed, and seeing all of the architectural details, furnishings, materials, and views come together into such a cohesive home made this project particularly memorable for me.
